Zakka Jacob is all set to move on from News18 and join Times Now as Managing Editor, e4m has learnt from highly placed sources.  Sources tell e4m that he will take on the new role in April. Navika Kumar will, however, continue to anchor the 9 PM show.

At News18, Zakka Jacob was Senior Anchor and Group Foreign Affairs Editor for CNN News18.

He took up the role in December 2015. Earlier, Jacob was the Managing Editor at CNN-News18.

At the time of the role change, the network, in an internal communication, stated that Zakka wished to step back from managerial responsibilities and focus on his journalistic craft. He will transition to the role of Senior Anchor and Group Foreign Affairs Editor in the grade of Managing Editor, in which capacity he will host shows on multiple platforms besides CNN-NEWS18.
