Tata Trusts Appoints Neville Tata and Bhaskar Bhat as Trustees

- Neville Tata, son of Tata Trusts chair Noel Tata, has been involved in the Tata ecosystem since 2016 and holds several board positions within Tata Trusts.
- Bhaskar Bhat served as Managing Director of Titan from 2002 to 2019, leading the company into new market segments and has a background in engineering and management.
Tata Trusts has reportedly appointed group veteran Bhaskar Bhat and Neville Tata to the board of Sir Dorabji Tata Trust (SDTT). Their tenure as trustees begins on November 12 for a period of three years, according to media reports.
The decision on the appointments was taken at a meeting held on Tuesday.
Neville Tata, son of Tata Trusts chair Noel Tata, has been part of the Tata ecosystem since 2016. An alumnus of Bayes Business School, he began his career at Trent the same year and later took charge of Zudio, the group’s rapidly expanding affordable fashion brand. He is also a board member of the JRD Tata Trust, Tata Social Welfare Trust, and RD Tata Trust.
Bhaskar Bhat spent 17 years, from 2002 to 2019, at the helm of Titan as its Managing Director. During his tenure, he steered the company into new segments such as jewellery, eyewear, and fashion accessories. Now 71, Bhat is a graduate of IIT Madras and IIM Ahmedabad. He started his professional journey at Godrej & Boyce before moving to the Tata Watch Project, the venture that eventually evolved into Titan Company.
