Rob Doubal and Laurence “Lolly” Thomson have announced they are leaving their roles as Global Chief Creative Officers at M+C Saatchi after two years in the position.

The duo, widely known as Rob and Lolly, shared the news in separate posts on LinkedIn, saying they were moving on following what they described as a ‘fantastic’ period at the agency.

In his post, Doubal said, “We have worked with some wonderfully talented people unifying specialisms around the globe with Cultural Power, helping the US with the group's first ever Super bowl, Sports and Entertainment's first ever win at Cannes Lions & seeing the UK get back into the top 10 new business rankings.”

Thomson echoed the sentiment, saying, “Cracking the UK top 10 in new business, winning Sports & Entertainment's first ever Cannes Lions, and producing M+C Saatchi's first Super Bowl ad. Not half bad eh?”

Doubal and Thomson first began working together in 2006, going on to build careers at agencies including Mother London and Wieden+Kennedy. In 2012, they joined McCann London, where they later rose to become joint chief creative officers for McCann UK and co-presidents of McCann London, before taking on regional leadership roles across the UK in 2019.
