After recently resigning as Editor-in-Chief at Jagran New Media, senior journalist Rajesh Upadhyay has found a new calling. He has joined ToBe Online, an artificial intelligence-based platform recently launched by Bharat Gupta, a prominent figure in the media industry and former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jagran New Media. Here, he will serve as Chief Integrity Officer (CIO).

Rajesh Upadhyay's tenure at Jagran New Media ended on Thursday. He had been with Jagran New Media for nearly a decade. He joined the company in 2016 and played a key role in strengthening its digital platforms.

In August 2024, he was promoted to Executive President, further increasing his responsibilities. Under his leadership, the company made significant strides in content strategy, digital journalism, and innovation.

Under his leadership, the fact-checking platform "Vishvas News" was launched, which is considered a strong initiative to combat fake news. The platform has promoted fact-checking in several languages, including Hindi, and has also played a key role in media literacy campaigns.

With over 30 years of experience, Rajesh Upadhyay has distinguished himself in both print and digital media. Prior to Jagran New Media, he held key positions at prestigious media houses such as HT Media and DB Corp.

Speaking of education, Rajesh Upadhyay received his post-graduate degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He also studied at the Indian Institute of Management, Indore.
