Nandagopal Rajan has been appointed the CEO of The Indian Express - Digital.
He was the Chief Operating Officer for the last two years.
Rajan joined The Indian Express nearly 13 years ago after a brief stint with India Today.
Taking to social media to announce his new role, Rajan said: "Stepping into the role of CEO of The Indian Express Digital, I am very aware that it is not about a title. It is about responsibility — to Anant Goenka's vision, to George Varghese's belief that we must always be content-led, and to every person who built this organisation and keeps it running every day. It is also a responsibility to every Express reader who expects nothing but credible journalism from us, every day, every hour."
