IPG Mediabrands has appointed Paras Mehta as Senior Vice President, India — a strategic promotion that reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership within the digital and programmatic advertising space.

Since 2019, Mehta has served as Business Head of Matterkind India, leading IPG’s data-driven programmatic practice and delivering advanced Addressable Programmatic solutions. A digital advertising veteran, he has consistently addressed complex optimization and performance challenges across publishers and advertisers, Under his guidance, Matterkind positioned itself at the forefront of data-led innovation in India.
Earlier this year, Mehta was transferred to the Global Capability Centre (GCC) of IPG in Pune, where he undertook a brief stint. With this new appointment, he returns to IPG Mediabrands’ India leadership team in a senior role.
Prior to Matterkind, Mehta held leadership roles at Cadreon (IPG’s ad‑tech unit in APAC) and contributed to shaping programmatic strategy across the region. His expertise bridges analytics and execution — an ideal skill set for steering IPG Mediabrands through a rapidly evolving media landscape.
In his new role as SVP, Mehta will oversee strategic growth, platform integration, and the expansion of IPG’s digital capabilities across India. This move is part of IPG Mediabrands’ broader leadership reshuffle following global integration plans with Omnicom.
