IPG Mediabrands’ Dimitri Maex to join Accenture Song: Reports

Dimitri Maex, currently serving as Global President of IPG Mediabrands and Global CEO of Initiative, is set to join Accenture Song.
According to a report by Adweek, Maex has been appointed to lead the marketing division at Accenture Song. He will reportedly oversee the company’s brand, content, engagement and activation, and media services. The report further indicates that he will depart from IPG Mediabrands later this year.
Maex began his journey at IPG in 2019, initially taking on the role of Global CEO at Reprise. His leadership trajectory continued upward as he went on to serve as Global CEO of Initiative, followed by his elevation to Global President of Mediabrands. Prior to his time at IPG, Maex spent 17 years at Ogilvy, where he held several key positions, including serving as the agency’s first Global Chief Data Officer and later as President of OgilvyOne.
