IPG Mediabrands has recorded $2 billion as its billing for India in 2024.
As per COMvergences’ Billings and Market Share report, last year media agencies in India saw a total of $6.8 billion in digital spends. Lodestar UM's India billings have been recorded at $1.0B.
The average digital share across agencies stood at 52 per cent, as per the report, which is a compilation of data obtained by studying billings of 20 agency networks and two independent agencies.
It was reported last month that the Competition Commission of India has approved Omnicom Group’s proposed acquisition of Interpublic Group, making India the 10th jurisdiction globally to clear the high-stakes merger.
