Steve Jarrett, the Chief AI Officer at French telecom giant Orange, has accepted a new role at Anthropic. He shared the news of his new role through a LinkedIn post. He said he will take up the new role at Anthropic on August 25 and will be based in Paris, initially helping the company to better adapt our products to the needs of the European and African market.
“After seven wonderful years at Orange, I have accepted a job at Anthropic. I have loved working for Orange. The company has deeply held ethical beliefs matched with world-class engineering. The mission of the company to connect over 340 million people around the world in 26 countries, including in many African countries, was also close to my heart. It also has an executive committee full of smart, good, and hard-working people led by our extraordinary CEO Christel Heydemann”, the LinkedIn post read.
