AngelOne has appointed Kriti Sharma as Director, Head of Data Privacy and Data Protection Officer.
Kriti brings 17 years of legal advisory and regulatory compliance experience across India and Southeast Asia.
Kriti has held legal roles at Khaitan and Co., Baker McKenzie (London), CoinSwitch, and Dun and Bradstreet.
In her new role, Kriti plans to work at the intersection of legal-regulatory compliance, backend security, and DevOps engineering, collaborating directly with AngelOne's CISO and DevOps teams.
The scope covers end-to-end DPDPA framework implementation: consent management with purpose-specific, timestamped, and revocable consent records; automated DSAR intake and fulfilment pipelines with defined SLA windows; and data principal rights infrastructure integrated with backend user data stores.
