Onida Electronics’ Gunjan Srivastava takes on Additional Managing Director role

Onida Electronics Limited, formerly known as MIRC Electronics Limited, has announced the appointment of Gunjan Srivastava as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Additional Managing Director with effect from 4 July 2026, subject to shareholders’ approval.
Srivastava has been serving as CEO since 1 February 2026.
The Board has approved the change in designation of Kaval Mirchandani from Managing Director to Whole-time Director, effective 4 July 2026, subject to shareholders’ approval.
The company also announced the resignation of Shirish Suvagia as Whole-time Director and Chief Financial Officer, effective 3 July 2026. Suvagia confirmed that there were no material reasons for his resignation beyond those mentioned in his resignation letter.
Onida Electronics has appointed Manish Desai as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel, effective 4 July 2026. Desai has also been appointed as Additional Director and will take on the role of Whole-time Director for a three-year term, subject to shareholders’ approval.
