Sanatkumar brings over two decades of leadership experience across media, advertising, consumer insights, entertainment, and digital ecosystems - combining growth strategy, monetisation expertise, audience intelligence and brand-building capabilities in equal measure.
Most recently, he served as EVP & National Marketing and Research Head at Music Broadcast Ltd. (Radio City), where an 18-year tenure saw him drive audience engagement, digital innovation and monetisation at scale. He was instrumental in the launch of 11 Phase III radio markets, shaping hyperlocal brand positioning through the widely recognised "FM Bole Toh…" positioning. He also pioneered the launch of India's first Radio-TV channel on JioTV - RC Studio - creating a first-of-its-kind integrated audio-visual experience and significantly expanding Radio City's digital footprint.
Prior to Radio City, he served as Media Director at MullenLowe Lintas, leading insight-driven media planning and strategic solutions for marquee brands. Earlier, he spent over six years at Kantar IMRB International, building expertise in consumer intelligence, audience measurement and media analytics - contributing to landmark projects including TGI studies, the National Readership Survey, and the launch of India's first syndicated Radio Audience Panel (RADAR). He also led the rollout of television audience measurement panels in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, and conducted multi-country research across Asia.
Beyond industry, Sanatkumar has contributed to academia as Visiting Faculty at NMIMS School of Branding & Advertising and Guest Lecturer at Kohinoor Business School.
