Motorola India has appointed Ipshita Chowdhury as its new Marketing Head for India. In this role, she will lead the company’s marketing strategy and manage integrated campaigns across the country. She replaces Gagandeep Bedi, who has taken on a new role as Asia Pacific Marketing Strategy and Operations Lead.
Both Ipshita Chowdhury and Gagandeep Bedi will report to Shivam Ranjan, Head of Marketing for the Asia Pacific region at Motorola.
Ipshita brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and leadership roles across industries such as telecom, automobiles, and FMCG. During her career, she has worked with companies including Nokia, Microsoft, Philips Lighting, and Valvoline Cummins.
In his earlier position, Gagandeep Bedi contributed to strengthening Motorola’s brand presence and driving growth in the Indian market. In his new regional role, he will work closely with the Asia Pacific leadership team and marketing heads from different countries to shape strategy and support growth across both established and emerging markets.
Shivam Ranjan said that India continues to be an important growth market for Motorola. He added that Gagandeep played a key role in building a strong foundation for the brand in India, and his new regional responsibility will help improve coordination across Asia Pacific markets. He also noted that Ipshita’s strong understanding of consumers and her experience across multiple industries will support Motorola’s plans to further expand its presence in India.
Ipshita Chowdhury said she is excited to join Motorola, a brand known for innovation and strong technology and design.
