Mihir Sanghvi will be exiting Sony Pictures Networks India after spending nearly 10 years at the company, sources close to the development have told exchange4media.
His last working day is March 31, sources said.
Sanghvi joined SPNI in 2015 and most recently served as Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial, Procurement and Sustainability.
In this role, he was responsible for overseeing commercial strategy, procurement functions and sustainability initiatives across the network’s television and digital businesses.
Prior to joining Sony, Sanghvi worked at Johnson and Johnson India for over five years. During his tenure there, he held senior leadership roles including senior vice president and head of commercial, as well as associate director and country lead for procurement, handling commercial operations and sourcing functions.
Earlier in his career, Sanghvi was associated with American Express, where he worked as a client general manager, and with FedEx in a territory management role.
Sanghvi has completed an executive programme in business management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and holds a postgraduate diploma in sales and marketing management from SVKM’s Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
Sony Pictures Networks India has been undergoing leadership changes as part of ongoing organisational realignments.
Details regarding Sanghvi’s next venture remain unknown.
