Louis Vuitton parent company LVMH has announced the appointment of François Kohler as President LVMH South & Southeast Asia, as of February 23rd, 2026. He will report to Stéphane Bianchi.

In his new role, François Kohler will build on his extensive retail & client expertise with LVMH to further accelerate the Group’s ambition in South and Southeast Asia, a dynamic and strategic region for our Maisons with strong potential for future growth.

After playing a pivotal role in structuring the Group’s operations in the region and laying the groundwork for its ambitious development, Chris Chong leaves LVMH to pursue new career opportunities.

“I see amazing potential to continue to expand the footprint of our Group and Maisons in South and Southeast Asia. I am convinced that François Kohler, with his entrepreneurial leadership, ability to thrive in multicultural environments, along with his successful track record both at Group and Maisons level in developing retail networks, will be a key asset to capture the best development opportunities. I would also like to thank Chris Chong for his valuable contribution to our Group in the region. He consolidated our local presence while reinforcing synergies to accelerate and sustain our growth in South Asia”, commented Stéphane Bianchi.
