Ogilvy announced the appointment of Liam Parker as US CEO, The Ogilvy Group. This role will be effective in early January 2027. Parker has more than 20 years of experience at Ogilvy delivering culturally resonant, iconic work. In his new role, he will partner across The Ogilvy Group's portfolio of US brands and lead the team toward a shared ambition- to harness the power of creativity and breadth of Ogilvy’s modern marketing capabilities and talent to solve clients’ biggest challenges and accelerate network growth. He will report to Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO of The Ogilvy Group.
Laurent Ezekiel, Global CEO of The Ogilvy Group: “I’ve worked with Liam for many years and he was a brilliant partner as we set up WPP Open X, the bespoke agency for The Coca-Cola Company. Liam knows Ogilvy, knows our clients, and knows how to build teams that deliver. He has a proven record of bringing creativity and business results together, putting clients at the center of everything we do while fostering a culture of excellence. I'm thrilled to be reunited and to welcome him back to lead our US business into its next chapter.” Liam Parker, US CEO of The Ogilvy Group: “Returning to Ogilvy genuinely feels like coming home. Ogilvy has always been about bringing together the very best people around our clients’ businesses to solve their biggest problems with creativity. That’s the real magic of this place, and it’s what I’m most excited to build on.
Partnership is deep in our DNA, and I’ve experienced firsthand what we can achieve together. The chance to build on that alongside Guillermo [Vega], Aníbal [Casso], Drew [Warren], Rajesh [Midha], Agnes [Fischer], Sami [Ansari], Beth [Rolfs] and the extraordinary talent across The Ogilvy Group in the US, combining our creativity with the capabilities of WPP Open and the backing of WPP Creative to deliver even more for our clients, is an incredible opportunity. I’m thrilled to be back among some of the best people in the business, helping shape what’s next for our clients and their brands”.
Across the US, Parker will focus on strengthening collaboration across talent, disciplines, and capabilities, bringing together the right people to address clients' most important business challenges. Working in partnership with leaders across The Ogilvy Group and WPP Creative, he will build on the distinct strengths of each agency and team to create more opportunities for exceptional creative work and deliver meaningful growth for clients.
Parker's career has been defined by client obsession and creative business growth. He has held several senior roles across the network, including Chief Client Officer for Ogilvy North America and, most recently, Global Category Lead, WPP Open X for The Coca-Cola Company. Under his leadership, the Coca-Cola account earned Cannes Lions Brand of the Year in 2024 — the company's first such recognition. A champion of using creativity to drive measurable business impact for clients, his earlier work included helping establish the creative and effectiveness agenda for SC Johnson while playing a key role in new business, alongside leading global teams on IBM. He began his advertising career at McCann in Australia, where he led the local Mastercard business.
