Kiran D Tare joins The Free Press Journal as Executive Editor

Kiran D Tare has joined The Free Press Journal as Executive Editor, where he will head the newspaper’s video edition and political bureau.
Tare moves to the publication after a two-year stint as Editor of The Perfect Voice, a Mumbai-based daily newspaper, where he served from August 2024 to September 2026.
Before that, he worked with TV9’s News9 Plus, an OTT news video magazine, as Senior Editor between October 2022 and August 2024. His reporting portfolio covered politics, crime, business and social developments across Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa.
Tare spent over six years with India Today as Senior Associate Editor and Senior Editor, based in Mumbai, from April 2016 to October 2022.
His new role at The Free Press Journal brings together his experience in political reporting, editorial leadership and video news.
