Kate Alessi named Vice President and Managing Director at Google UK

Kate Alessi has been appointed as Vice President and Managing Director at Google UK. The news of her appointment was shared by Debbie W, President, Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Google on LinkedIn. As per the post, Kate Alessi will take on the new role from June 2025.

Kate’s expertise will be invaluable as we work to unlock AI-powered economic growth across the UK. She has taken over from Debbie Weinstein, who was given an expanded role to oversee Google’s European, Middle East, and African businesses in December last year.

Kate Alessi has been associated with Google for over 13 years and has held several leadership roles at the company.

Most recently, Alessi was based in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she worked as Google and YouTube’s Vice President of global production solutions.

Alessi joined the Google in 2010 after working in venture capital and as a management consultant.
