Ian Mackenzie, Chief Creative Officer, McCann Worldgroup Canada, Global Creative AI Lead, McCann Worldgroup, has moved on. He took to LinkedIn and announced his departure from the company. He has been with Interpublic for 9 years, and was a key figure in the launch of both FCB/Six and Performance Art.
In his post, Ian Mackenzie said that after working for about 9 years across three IPG agencies, FCB/SIX, Performance Art and McCann Worldgroup (McCann, MRM and Craft in Canada), he has decided to part ways to move on to new adventures.
“Some exciting news! After almost nine years, across three IPG agencies, FCB/SIX, Performance Art and McCann Worldgroup (McCann, MRM and Craft in Canada), I've made the tough decision to move on to new adventures! I'm brimming with gratitude for all the experiences, chances to learn, and talented people and partners I had a chance to work with along this part of my journey, and for the incredible clients who trusted me and our teams with their brands and customers”, the LinkedIn post read.
“If I'm grateful for the journey so far, I'm even more excited about what's ahead! Stay tuned for details. In the meantime, please feel free to reach out and connect or re-connect. I haven't always been good at saying it out loud, but I'm so proud to be part of this professional community, and admire so much of what you all are doing”, the post read.
