Alison Wagonfeld has announced on LinkedIn that she is set to leave Google Cloud after close to ten years with the company. She is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer at Google Cloud.
She will step down from her role at Google later this month and take on the position of Chief Marketing Officer at NVIDIA.
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, Wagonfeld said that after spending nearly a decade helping grow Google Cloud from its early days in 2016 into a business with an annual run rate of $60 billion, she feels ready for a new challenge. She added that she is excited to join NVIDIA’s leadership team and lead marketing and communications as the company enters its next stage of growth.
At NVIDIA, Wagonfeld will serve as the company’s first-ever Chief Marketing Officer and will report directly to CEO Jensen Huang.
Wagonfeld started her professional journey as an investment banking analyst at Morgan Stanley. She later held senior roles at Greenlight (Internet Brands), worked as Executive Director at the Harvard Business School California Research Center, and served as an Operating Partner at Emergence Capital, a venture capital firm focused on enterprise cloud businesses.
