Amit Thakur has taken on the role of Chief Executive Officer, Media at dentsu Vietnam. Prior to joining dentsu Vietnam, he served as Managing Partner at WPP Media.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Thakur said he is three months into the role. He also stated, “The past few months have been a period of deep learning—immersing myself and working alongside an energized team, and partnering with clients who are helping shape the future of marketing and growth in this market.”
With over two decades of experience in marketing, media and business leadership, Thakur has worked across India and Southeast Asia, building and scaling brands in multi-market environments. His career includes senior roles at Unilever, Nestlé, Kimberly-Clark, Tata Group and Mindshare.
