- Evocus has appointed Clavell Santiago as Vice President – Sales HoReCa and Marketing, overseeing commercial and marketing functions to drive strategic direction and revenue growth.
- Santiago has over 12 years of experience in the FMCG and hospitality sectors, previously serving as Head of Sales – HoReCa at Evocus, where he led the brand's entry into the HoReCa segment.
- Under his leadership, Evocus expanded to over 1,000 outlets and became a preferred partner for major hospitality chains, launching the world’s first Black Soda.
- Aakash Vaghela, Founder and Managing Director of Evocus, emphasized Santiago's expertise in scaling channels and building partnerships as vital for the company's growth in India and international markets.
Evocus has announced a senior leadership update with Clavell Santiago being appointed Vice President – Sales HoReCa and Marketing. In this expanded role, he will lead both the commercial and marketing functions, focusing on strategic direction, revenue growth, and the expansion of the HoReCa business in India and overseas markets.
Santiago brings more than 12 years of experience across the FMCG and hospitality sectors, with strong capabilities in B2B sales, business growth, strategic alliances, and building premium brands across domestic and international markets.
He has played a key role in Evocus’s growth journey and was most recently serving as Head of Sales – HoReCa. During this time, he spearheaded Evocus’s entry into the HoReCa segment and led the launch of the world’s first Black Soda. Under his leadership, the brand expanded to over 1,000 outlets across the country and became a preferred beverage partner for leading hospitality chains such as Oberoi, Marriott, and Taj.
Before joining Evocus, Santiago held senior roles at organisations including the Narang Group, Coffee Day Beverages, MARS Group, IHG, and InterContinental Hotels Group, further strengthening his experience across hospitality and consumer brands.
Commenting on the appointment, Aakash Vaghela, Founder and Managing Director of Evocus, said that as the company grows its presence in India and international markets, Santiago’s expertise in scaling channels, building strong partnerships, and enhancing premium brand experiences will be critical. He added that Santiago’s ability to grow brands and connect with consumers will help expand Evocus’s reach and relevance across markets.
