Anurag Mantri appointed President at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals

Anurag Mantri has been roped in as the President at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, the company stated in a regulatory filing. His new role is effective from today, April 7, 2025. Mantri joins from Jindal Stainless Limited where he served as Executive Director & Group Chief Finance Officer since 2016.
Also, VS Mani, Executive Director & Global Chief Financial Officer of the company, has conveyed his decision to opt for early retirement and has decided to step down from the position of Executive Director and Global Chief Financial Officer with effect from close of May 26, 2025. However, for smooth transition, Mani will continue with the Company for some time.
“The Board on the recommendation of Nomination Remuneration Committee, vide Circular resolution dated April 6, 2025, has appointed Mr. Anurag Mantri as President (Senior Management Personnel) with effect from April 7, 2025”, the filing stated.
The filing stated that the candidature of Anurag Mantri to the office of Executive Director & Global Chief Financial Officer will be put up before Audit Committee, Nomination & Remuneration Committee and Board of the Company in the ensuing committee meetings/Board meeting for approval and once approved, he will then be appointed as Executive Director and Global Chief Financial Officer.
Mantri has over thirty years of management experience where he has led large-scale enterprise value creation, managed large IPO’s and global compliance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance. He has also had roles of increasing responsibility in treasury, IR, tax and ERP deployment.
Mantri began his career with Larsen & Toubro as part of their Corporate Finance & Group Treasury team. Subsequently, he had impactful stints with HCL Technologies as Corporate Treasurer and SRF Limited as Head treasury, Investor Relations and Mergers & Acquisitions respectively. After that, he spent six years with Cairn Energy as their Group Treasurer & Financial Controller and Head Investor Relations.
He later joined ACME Group (Solar) briefly as their Executive Director, Finance and Strategy & Group Chief Financial Officer before joining Schneider Electric Infrastructure Limited (SEIL) as Chief Financial Officer. He is a qualified chartered accountant and a Bachelor in Commerce from the University of Rajasthan.
