Annapurna Vishwanathan has been appointed as Vice President, Head of Information Management and Digital for India & South Asia. With nearly two decades of expertise in tech management and digital transformation, Annapurna Vishwanathan is all set to lead Airbus’s digital future.

Prior to this, Annapurna Vishwanathan was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Cummins India where she was responsible for developing and implementing an IT strategy that enhances business outcomes for the region.

"I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as VP Head of IM & Digital, India and South Asia at Airbus", she stated in her LinkedIn post.

Annapurna has 15 years of experience across companies such as Coca-Cola, GE and Atos Origin. She was also the Head of Digital at Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Ltd. where she was responsible for defining and driving the digital strategy for the company across manufacturing, logistics, commercial and sales functions.

She also spent 11.5 years at GE and is a product of multiple leadership programs. During her stint at GE, she has worked across multiple technology domains (including product development, ERP, applications, M&A, IT infrastructure and security) across 7 industry verticals in US, Europe and South Asia.
