MOBE announced the appointment of Amitabh Deka as Senior Vice President, Employer Sales. Deka brings more than 25 years of health care experience to help MOBE expand its relationships with employers and their consulting partners.

“Amitabh brings a unique combination of clinical expertise and firsthand understanding of the challenges employers face in managing the health of their populations,” said Tim Lacy, President of MOBE. “That perspective will be invaluable as we help more employers address rising health risks and costs with our connected approach.”

A physician executive with more than 25 years of experience, Deka has worked across health care strategy, population health, analytics, and benefits consulting. Before joining MOBE, he held leadership roles with Aon, Willis Towers Watson, and Swiss Re. His experience advising large employers and evaluating health care solutions gives him a buyer’s perspective on improving outcomes and managing costs.

As SVP, Employer Sales, Deka will help employers and their consulting partners understand how MOBE's whole-person approach can address population health priorities and cost drivers across their workforces.

“Too often, people with complex health needs may not receive meaningful support until their need becomes serious and costly. Employers have a real opportunity to intervene earlier,” said Deka. “MOBE combines data, technology, and human support to identify people at rising health risk and provide personalized guidance as their health needs evolve. I’m excited to help more employers put that approach into action.”
