Akul Narula, who served as the Vice President – Events at District by Zomato, has departed the company after a multi-year tenure. He was instrumental in building and expanding the platform’s live events and ticketing vertical.
During his time at District by Zomato, Narula oversaw strategy and execution, helping expand live event formats and scale them across different markets. He played a key role in developing partnerships, supporting promoters and artists, and driving growth across the platform’s live events.
According to his LinkedIn profile, prior to joining District by Zomato, Narula spent over three years at Insider.on as Head – New Business. He also held roles at DLF Limited in Central Marketing for DLF shopping malls, and has worked with White Fox India and Comic Con India (P) Ltd., among other organisations.
