ABD Maestro elevates Bikram Basu to Vice Chairman

- Bikram Basu has been promoted to Vice Chairman of ABD Maestro, while retaining his position as Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer of Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABDL) Group.
- Basu, who has been Managing Director of ABD Maestro since April 2025, will continue to oversee company operations and drive marketing and innovation for ABDL and ABD Maestro's brand portfolios.
- The new leadership structure aims to enhance collaboration, integrate marketing capabilities, accelerate innovation, and share best practices across the group.
- Basu joined ABDL in March 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and has held various leadership roles, culminating in his current position as Vice Chairman.
ABD Maestro has elevated Bikram Basu to Vice Chairman, expanding his leadership mandate alongside his existing role as Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer of Allied Blenders & Distillers (ABDL) Group.
Basu, who has served as Managing Director of ABD Maestro since April 2025, will continue to oversee the company’s operations while driving marketing and innovation across the brand portfolios of ABDL and ABD Maestro.
Under the expanded leadership structure, Basu will work closely with Pradipta Basu, Chief Marketing Officer, ABDL, and Arvind Hangal, Director – Marketing and Special Accounts – On Trade, ABD Maestro, to strengthen alignment across the group's marketing functions.
According to the company, “This enhanced leadership structure will enable greater collaboration, stronger integration of marketing capabilities, accelerated innovation, and the sharing of best practices across the group.”
Basu joined Allied Blenders & Distillers in March 2015 as Chief Operating Officer and has since taken on several leadership responsibilities across the group. He later moved into a leadership role at ABD Maestro, the company's subsidiary focused on its super-premium and luxury spirits portfolio, before being appointed Managing Director in April 2025.
His elevation to Vice Chairman further consolidates his role across ABDL and ABD Maestro, bringing the group's marketing, innovation and super-premium spirits operations under a more closely aligned leadership structure.
