Senior journalist, anchor and content professional Sumiit Lakhutia is reportedly set to join Network18. Lakhutia brings nearly two decades of experience across television, digital media and business.
Prior to this, he spent almost a decade at Times Network, where he recently served as Senior News Editor. In the role, he led content and special projects focused on business, banking and financial services (BFSI).
During his tenure at Times Network, Lakhutia anchored programmes across Times Now, ET Now and Mirror Now. He also contributed to voiceovers, branded content, special shows and large-scale events for the network's television and digital platforms.
Before joining Times Network, Lakhutia spent around six years at CNBC-TV18, where he worked as Producer – Special Projects, anchor and voice artist.
Prior to his media career, Lakhutia was associated with his family business.
