Sudhir Chaudhary’s Essprit Productions has appointed Dwaipayan Bose as Chief Content officer.

Bose is a senior journalist with over 25 years of experience across print, digital and television journalism in India and abroad. 

Throughout his career, he has held editorial leadership roles across major media houses, including Editor-in-Chief of DNA, Editor of IndiaToday.in, Editor of Mail Today, and Resident Editor with both The Times of India and Hindustan Times. He was also the Launch Editor of News18.com for the Network18 Group and part of the team that launched newspapertoday.com, India’s first online newspaper, with the India Today Group.

He has launched and led news operations in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Bhopal and other key markets, shaping editorial strategies across geographies and platforms. His core strengths include writing, editing, newsroom leadership, content creation, and adapting editorial products to diverse audiences.

Bose is a Thomson Reuters Fellow and has studied and conducted research at the University of Oxford. He also interned with The Sunday Times in London as a British Chevening Scholar. 

He is also a published author and continues to contribute to discourse on journalism, media innovation, and international affairs.
