New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV) reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 127.05 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, marking a 19.2% increase from Rs 106.52 crore in the same quarter last year.
Marketing, distribution and promotional expenses also rose by 19.6% year-on-year to Rs 36.68 crore, compared to Rs 30.68 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
The total income for the quarter stood at Rs 128.24 crore, up 8.3% from Rs 118.43 crore a year ago.
Despite the rise in revenue, the company posted a total comprehensive loss of Rs 61.37 crore for the period, widening significantly from a loss of Rs 8.74 crore reported in the fourth quarter of FY24.
The company's total income for FY25 stood at Rs 472.18 crore, up 20.8% from Rs 392.72 crore recorded in FY24. The increase was primarily supported by a 25.7% rise in revenue from operations, which grew to Rs 465.03 crore from Rs 370.01 crore in the previous year.
However, other income fell sharply by 68.5% to Rs 7.15 crore from Rs 22.71 crore a year ago. Meanwhile, marketing, distribution, and promotional expenses rose by 29.7% to Rs 92.07 crore.
In terms of comprehensive income, NDTV reported a total comprehensive loss of Rs 219.26 crore for FY25, compared to a loss of Rs 21.59 crore in FY24.
