Mahesh Shetty, previously Head of Network Sales at Viacom18, steps into an exciting new role as Head of Client Engagement and Cross-Screen Leverage at JioStar.
With more than 20 years of experience across major brands in media and sales, Shetty is poised to lead JioStar’s efforts in cross-screen client engagement.
His journey includes notable achievements at Viacom18, where he drove impactful network sales strategies, and at Radio Mirchi, where he held various leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer. Shetty’s vast industry knowledge and strategic vision are assets he now brings to JioStar as it seeks to elevate its multi-platform advertising capabilities.
In his new role, Shetty will focus on strengthening client partnerships and enhancing brand engagement across television, digital, and OTT platforms, ensuring a cohesive ad experience across screens. He will report directly to Ajit Varghese, Head of Revenue, Entertainment and International, JioStar, and work closely with him to achieve the company’s revenue goals.
