JioStar has secured a three-year media rights deal for the English Premier League, media networks have reported.
The deal is reportedly worth $65 million and will start from the 2025-26 season.
This November, Reliance Industries Limited, Viacom18 Media and The Walt Disney Company finalised a joint venture leading to the creation of JioStar.
As per reports, the deal accounts for $54 million as rights fee and $11 million for marketing purposes.
JioStar vice-chairperson Uday Shankar recently said in an interview that the JV may not bid for the next cycle of ICC rights.
