BARC Week 33: Zee Anmol leads Hindi GEC category (U+R)
Zee Anmol also led the rural market while Colors was the most watched Hindi GEC in the urban market
According to BARC data for Week 33 (August 12–18), Zee Anmol continued to dominate the Hindi GEC category (collectively) with a reach of 671 million impressions. This was followed by Zee TV with 628 million impressions and Colors with 603 million impressions.
Zee TV’s three shows, ‘Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’ (1st) , ‘Kundali Bhagya’ (3rd) and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ (4th) were once again in the Top 5 list with 11.3 million, 10 million and 9.9 million impressions, respectively. Colors’ ‘Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi: Pain in Spain’ was the second most watched show in the week with 10.5 million impressions while Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was the 5th most watched show in the week with 8.3 million impressions.
Colors overtook Star Plus to top the urban market with 414 million impressions while Star Plus had 409 million impressions. Zee TV was third with 379 million impressions, Sony SAB was fourth with 288 million impressions and Sony Entertainment Television snatched the fifth spot with 280 million impressions.
In the urban market, Colors’‘Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Pain In Spain’ was the most watched show with 7.2 million impressions. Zee TV’s ‘Amul Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs’ saw 7 million impressions, Sony SAB’s ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was the third most watched show with 5.9 million impressions. The list is rounded off by Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ which saw 5.854 million impressions, followed by Kumkum Bhagya, which saw 5.827 million impressions.
Zee Anmol led the rural market with 526 million impressions followed by Sony Pal with 395 million impressions. The third place was taken by Rishtey with 382 million impressions. Zee TV took the fourth spot with 248 million impressions and Star Utsav followed with 238 million impressions.

In the rural market, Zee Anmol’s ‘Jamai Raja’ was the most watched show with 6.2 million impressions followed by Zee Anmol’s ‘Kaala Teeka’ with 5.2 million impressions. Sony Pal’s ‘Baalveer’ (5.2 million impressions) and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ (5.1 million impressions) took the third and fourth spots, respectively. This was followed by Zee Anmol’s ‘Tashan-e-ishq’ with 4.3 million impressions.
