Ambuj Kashyap to take over strategic & business initiatives at JioStar

Ambuj Kashyap will work directly with Uday Shankar and partner with CEOs on strategic and business initiatives in the newly formed joint venture of Jio and Star. 

He has previously been the Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer for over three years since April 2021 of IHX, a healthcare data platform which connects some of India’s largest payers with over 14,000 hospitals. 

Prior to IHX, Kashyap was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey (USA) where he led teams and advised Fortune 500 companies across diverse industries amongst energy, infrastructure and advanced industries, on organisation and digital transformations. He also led due-diligence studies in subject areas such as advanced robotics, retail, healthcare services. 

He began his career at Schlumberger, an oilfield technology company, in 2010 in the Middle East where he led a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and experts to plan and execute complex drilling programs. Here, he also marketed new technology to clients in the UAE to win new projects. Kashyap was associated with Schlumberger for about six years from May 2010 to April 2016. 

Kashyap pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in General Management from Harvard Business School during 2016-2018.
