RAM Ratings Week 47: Fever FM leads Mumbai and Delhi
Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi continued dominating Bangalore and Kolkata respectively
Week 47 (November 19-25, 2017) of RAM Ratings saw the radio channel Fever FM dominating Mumbai and Delhi cities respectively. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi continued leading Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.
In the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever overtook Big FM to lead the market with 15.1 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Radio City. Radio Mirchi and Radio City had 14 per cent and 13.8 per cent share respectively. Big FM slipped dramatically to the fourth spot with 13 per cent. Red FM retained its fifth spot with improved 11.9 per cent share. Early morning, followed by mid-morning and morning time band, observed the highest listenership on the total radio.
Fever continued to dominate Delhi (consisting of 16.5 million listeners) with improved 18.4 per cent share. Radio Mirchi and Radio Mirchi climbed to second and third spot with 12.1 per cent and 12 per cent respectively. Radio Nasha slipped to the fourth spot with 11.6 per cent share while Air FM 2 Gold retained its fifth spot with 11.1 per cent share respectively. Afternoon, followed by evening and mid-morning time band, observed the highest listenership.
In Bangalore universe of 5.3 million listeners, Radio City maintained its lead with 24.4 per cent share, followed by Big FM (18.7 per cent) and Radio Mirchi (16.1 per cent). Fever FM retained its fourth spot with 14.5 per cent share. Red FM took the fifth spot with 6.4 per cent share. Mid-morning, followed by evening and afternoon time band, observed the highest listenership.
In Kolkata Universe of 9.1 million listeners, Radio Mirchi continued to reign with 21 per cent share. It was followed by Big FM with improved 18.1 per cent share. Fever FM, Aamar FM and Red FM retained its third, fourth and fifth spot with 16.6 per cent, 9.8 per cent and 9.6 per cent share respectively. Afternoon, followed by morning and mid-morning time band, observed the highest listenership.
