India’s finest legal minds gather at BW Legal World GLLS & GC100 Awards 2025

The global legal landscape continues to evolve with rapid advances in technology, regulatory reforms and new business models. BW Legal World presents a celebration of two major initiatives - the BW Legal World Top General Counsel List & Awards 2025 and the BW Legal World Global Legal Summit and Legal Leader Awards 2025.

The Top General Counsel List & Awards is an annual initiative that honours in-house legal leaders who have made a strong impact through their expertise and contribution to the legal ecosystem. The Global Legal Summit and Legal Leader Awards celebrate excellence among law firms and individual lawyers who continue to raise the bar through innovation, commitment and leadership. Both initiatives aim to fuel excellence, inspire growth and identify professionals who shape the future of law.

The Awards will be presented across various categories. A day-long summit will precede the ceremony, offering wide-ranging discussions on issues central to modern legal practice

Key speakers for this year include Justice AK Sikri, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India; Justice Iqbal Ahmed Ansari, Former Chief Justice of the Patna High Court and former Chairperson of the Punjab State Human Rights Commission; and Justice JR Midha, Former Judge, Delhi High Court.

The speaker lineup further includes Dhanendra Kumar, IAS (Retd.), Chairman, Competition Advisory Services (I) LLP and Founding Chairman, Competition Commission of India; Dr Mukul Shashtry, Group General Counsel, Cube Highways; Manish Lamba, General Counsel, DLF Cyber City Developers Ltd; Amar Kumar Sundram, General Counsel - SVP (Legal) & Chief Compliance Officer, NEC Corporation; and Srinit Mishra, Board Director & General Counsel (India), Ball Corporation.
