Prasar Bharati's OTT platform Waves has recorded over a million downloads in a month from its launch.
MIB minister Ashwini Vaishnaw posted the update on social media saying WAVES OTT App has crossed "a significant milestone of 1 million downloads".

Waves was launched on November 20 at the 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, in the presence of Sanjay Jaju, Secretary, I&B Ministry.
The platform features a line-up of 38 live channels, including entertainment networks like B4U, ABZY, SAB Group, and 9X Media, alongside major news channels such as India
Today, News Nation, Republic, ABP News, News24, and NDTV India. It also offers all Doordarshan and Akashvani channels.
