Nazara Technologies raises Rs 855 crore funding for expansion

Nazara Technologies has raised Rs 855 crore via a preferential issue, as per media reports.
The funds are meant to help the company's expansion in the gaming and sports media sector.
BSE and NSE have given in-principle approval to the fund raising.
In September, Nazara, a Mumbai-based company, made an investment of Rs 982 crore in PokerBaazi’s parent company, Moonshine Technology.
Nazara’s board then gave approval to the acquisition of 18,96,674 equity shares of Moonshine from existing shareholders.
