Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have tied the knot! As per new agencies, the couple exchanged vows on Friday (27 June) afternoon on the island of San Giorgio in Venice, Italy.
The event, set against the backdrop of St. Mark’s Square, was reportedly attended by around 200 to 250 high-profile guests from the worlds of film, business and entertainment.
According to reports, the three-day wedding celebrations has estimated to cost between 40 million and 48 million euros. Italy’s tourism ministry reported that the overall economic impact of the event could reach a staggering 957 million euros, mostly due to media exposure, along with significant spending on hotels, venues, transportation and services.
