Was awarded as young marketer, delighted to have lived up to the promise: Prashant Sarwade

Prashant Sarwade, Director, Marketing at Cargill Food Solutions South Asia, was honoured with The CMO Growth Award at the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026, recognising his role in driving marketing-led growth in the food and edible oils sector.

Sarwade brings strong expertise in building brands and scaling businesses in the FMCG and food industry. He is consumer-first marketing leader with 20+ years of experience driving growth, innovations and brand transformation across FMCG, food retail and nutrition categories. At Cargill Food Solutions South Asia, he leads marketing strategy for a portfolio of leading brands including NatureFresh Cooking Oil and Flours, Rath Vanaspati, Professional Bakery Solutions, and Branded Food Services Solutions. 

His marketing approach has focussed on combining consumer insights with integrated campaigns to drive category awareness, strengthen brand recall and expand market reach across both urban and emerging markets.

Through his leadership, Sarwade has contributed to building stronger consumer connections for Cargill’s brands while navigating a highly competitive and fast-evolving food market.
