Vodafone Idea likely to spend big on regaining customers: Reports

Vodafone Idea is reportedly setting aside around Rs 800 crore this financial year to regain its customer base, media reports have said.

A major part of this fund will be spent on BTL activation purposes, it is being reported.

Vodafone Idea unveiled its new combined brand identity in the first week of September.

Vodafone Idea's Board has approved fund raising of upto Rs 25,000 crore via share sale and debt to meet its payment of Adjusted Gross Revenue (AGR) dues, instalments and investment in the network.

Vi has also become the co-presenting sponsor of the upcoming Dream11 IPL 2020 and has acquired the co-sponsorship rights of the live broadcast of T20 premier league.
