Rajat Kumar Jain named Independent Director at Vodafone Idea India

Angel investor and industry leader Rajat Kumar Jain has joined Vodafone Idea India as an Independent Director. While Jain took to LinkedIn to announce the move, the appointment was announced first by the company at its 29th Annual General Meeting on 28th August. Jain will serve for five years, effective August 31, 2024.
He is also associated with EMA Partners, an executive search firm as its independent director.
Jain worked with Fino Payments Bank for close to four years, last serving as its Non Executive Chairman.
The IIM A alumnus specialises in partnering with, incubating, and investing in technology startups. He is also the Founder of PadUp Ventures, a knowledge and mentoring platform that aims to impact startups.
He has over 30+ years of experience across diverse sectors to actively mentor and advise companies across industries to enhance business outcomes, mentor and coach leadership teams to enhance performance and actively support and engage with the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem in India. In the past, he was the MD of Xerox India and Walt Disney India overseeing the growth of the respective brands in the sub-continent.
