Shweta Dalal, Marketing Director at Nivea India, was honoured at the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026 for her collective effort behind the brand’s digital success and emphasising the role of creativity and collaboration in building meaningful consumer connections. She won in 'The CMO Digital Marketing Award' category.
Dalal began by expressing gratitude to the organisers and said she was deeply honoured to receive the recognition. She dedicated the award to her team and the wider Nivea India organisation, crediting them for turning ambitious ideas into tangible impact for consumers.
“I’m truly honoured to receive this award today on behalf of my incredible team and of course Nivea India,” she said. “They are the ones who really help turn big ideas into real impact that changes the lives of consumers every day.”
Highlighting the importance of pushing boundaries in digital marketing, Dalal said that strong brand building today requires a balance of creativity, insight and meaningful engagement with audiences across platforms.
“Here’s to pushing boundaries, embracing creativity and building brands that truly connect with people,” she added.
Dalal also took a moment to acknowledge the personal support system that has helped her through her professional journey. Referring to her husband, who was present at the event, she described him as a constant mentor and supporter.
“He’s been my mentor, my support system, my best friend and my buddy,” she said, adding that she often discusses campaigns with him at home and values his perspective on her work.
In a lighthearted remark, Dalal joked that every campaign she works on is “endorsed and approved” by her husband, and said that in many ways he deserved to receive the award alongside her. “So he’s actually the one who’s receiving the award tonight,” she said with a smile, before thanking the audience once again.
Dalal concluded by reiterating her appreciation for her team and the brand, and dedicated the recognition to everyone who contributed to Nivea India’s digital marketing journey.
