At the Laqshya Pitch Best CMO Awards 2026, Sunil Suresh, Group CMO, Air India was honoured for his leadership and marketing brilliance. He won the award in the ‘The CMO Leadership Award’ category.

Accepting the award, Suresh said, “Thank you very much for this. I am absolutely honoured to receive this award. It is very appropriate that the awards are happening in Mumbai, a city that is also home to the iconic Air India building.”

He added that the recognition comes at an important stage in the airline’s journey. “Air India is a 93-year-old brand that has seen its ups and downs. At one time it was among the best in the world and today it is in the midst of a transformation. We are committed to making it a world-class brand that every Indian is proud of. Receiving this award is a recognition of the progress we have made.”
