e4m Revenue Leaders 40under40 Awards: Saurav Banerjee joins jury board

Saurav Banerjee, former CEO of NDTV, has joined the esteemed jury panel of the e4m Revenue Leaders 40under40 Awards. Known for his leadership and strategic vision, Banerjee’s inclusion in the panel adds considerable expertise to the selection process, as the awards seek to recognise young talent driving revenue growth and innovation in the media world. His extensive industry background makes him an ideal addition to identify and celebrate emerging leaders who are shaping the future of the industry.

During his tenure at NDTV, Banerjee was pivotal in transforming the company’s revenue strategies and strengthening its position in the Indian media landscape. As part of the jury, he brings a unique perspective that will help highlight and reward the innovative approaches young professionals are bringing to media revenue generation.

Saurav Banerjee has extensive operational and financial experience in handling various aspects of business including raising finances, capital restructuring, mergers & acquisitions and statutory compliances with more than a decade of service with the company. Saurav Banerjee is now the Managing Director and Founder of MyyTake since November 2020.

Banerjee was with NDTV for over 12 years. He joined the group in 2003. As part of his role as Co-CEO, Saurav looked after the operations and financial planning, taxation, legal and compliances. Widely respected across the financial world, he was actively involved in raising finances, capital restructuring, mergers & acquisitions and statutory compliances with more than a decade of service with the company.

Before taking up the role of Co-CEO, Banerjee was the Director, Finance and Group CFO where he was responsible for corporate financial reporting, audit, treasury, internal controls and corporate governance. He is also responsible for overall financial management of the company, Investor Relations and long-range planning.

Before joining NDTV, Saurav was working in Global Capital Market Group of Price Waterhouse Coopers (PwC). He began his career as a Trainee Accountant in Lovelock and Lewis (now a part of PwC).

Saurav is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School and has earned his Chartered Accountancy degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

The inaugural edition of the e4m Revenue Leaders 40under40 Awards is set to be held in February 2025. The jury panel includes industry luminaries and distinguished leaders from the media who will assess the accomplishments of the nominees, the impact they have had in the revenue domain and evaluate the influence within their organisation, industry, and community. The jury chair of the inaugural edition will be Prasanth Kumar, CEO - South Asia, GroupM and Dr. Annurag Batra, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief, BW BusinessWorld & Founder, exchange4media.
