Chalasani took over as the Chief Executive of AMFI in January 2024. He has a wealth of expertise and experience of nearly four decades. Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Managing Director at the State Bank of India. He has also held various board positions and has been part of committees set-up by Reserve Bank of India and Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Trade & Commerce.
