- SkaSports Investments Private Limited has acquired a minority stake in NSG Global Pte Ltd, the parent company of Singapore Premier League club FC Jurong, previously known as Albirex Niigata Football Club (S).
- FC Jurong, founded in 2004, is a six-time SPL champion and currently ranks third in the 2025-26 season; it will officially rebrand to FC Jurong in the 2026-27 season.

SkaSports Investments Private Limited, a fully Indian owned organization aiming to establish a global sporting footprint, by focusing on sports-related businesses and properties, announces an acquisition of a minority stake in NSG Global Pte Ltd which is the parent and management company of top division Singapore football club Football Club Jurong (FC Jurong) playing in the Singapore Premier League (SPL).
The Club, known currently as Albirex Niigata Football Club (S), plays their matches at the Jurong East Stadium and is one of the eight teams that forms the top division SPL.
The Club was founded in 2004. They are six-time champions of the SPL including the famous 2018 unbeaten “invincible” season. They are currently third in the table for the 2025-26 SPL season.
The Club has officially announced a name change to FC Jurong in 2026, which will be implemented from the 2026-27 season.
The Club’s women’s team won the Singapore Women’s Premier League in September 2025 and qualified for the AFC Women's Champions League Preliminary Stage for the 2026-27 season.
