Senior journalist Pradeep Mishra passed away in Lucknow on Friday.
He was reportedly battling cancer for a long time.
Pradeep Mishra began his journalistic career with Dainik Jagran in Lucknow. He subsequently worked for newspapers like Kuber Times and Hindustan. He also served as news editor for Amar Ujala in cities like Bareilly , Varanasi, and Meerut.
Until recently, he served as news editor at Amar Ujala Lucknow. According to colleagues, Pradeep Mishra was extremely dedicated to his work, had a simple nature, and was a friendly person.
Upon receiving news of his passing, journalists, literary figures, and those in the media world expressed deep condolences. Several senior journalists remembered him, saying he was not only a skilled editor but also a good human being , always ready to help others.
