Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to deliver a nationwide address at 8:30 pm on Saturday, as confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

The announcement comes a day after the women’s reservation Bill did not secure passage in the Lok Sabha.
Several media reports suggest the Prime Minister may speak about the proposed rollout of women’s quota in legislatures, along with recent parliamentary developments linked to the Bill’s rejection.
The proposed law sought to increase the strength of the Lok Sabha from 543 to 816 seats, enabling a 33% reservation for women ahead of the 2029 general elections.
