MR.DIY India has launched a touching Diwali film that celebrates empathy, understanding, and the joy of thoughtful giving. Conceptualized and executed by Wit & Chai, “The Painting” tells the story of a young visually impaired girl and a boy, offering a refreshing break from sale-driven festive narratives.
It highlights Diwali’s true essence – compassion, kindness, and thoughtful gestures that bring light to others.
Shreya Badola, Group Account Director at Wit & Chai, said, “Diwali is as much a time for reflection as it is for celebration. With this film, we wanted to move beyond typical festive narratives and tell a heartfelt story through the eyes of two young protagonists.”
“At MR.DIY, our focus has always been on adding value to people’s everyday lives, and that extends beyond products. ‘The Painting’ beautifully brings alive the spirit of Diwali as a festival of empathy and connection, reminding us that even the simplest act of kindness can brighten someone’s world,” a spokesperson from MR.DIY added.
